Overview

Ever since the first US Grand Prix tickets were released back in 2012, the Circuit of the Americas has been a firm favourite for racing fans all round the world. Instantly recognisable by the statuesque COTA tower, classically American displays of patriotism (including a 32,000 sq ft flag), and the famous ‘Big Red’ incline at Turn 1, this is a track that every fan needs to experience at least once. Just outside downtown Austin, the US Grand Prix is ideally placed for visitors keen to explore this fascinating, culturally rich area of Texas. Under the blazing Texas sun by day and the glow of floodlights by night, the circuit delivers heart-pounding drama at every corner.

Day 1

After relaxing in the airport lounge, board your flight to Austin, Texas. Upon arrival you’ll be met and transferred to the historic Driskill Hotel, your home for the next five nights.

Day 2

Today you have a day to explore Austin at your leisure. Our team can arrange guided tours of local areas like the lively South Congress or a trip to the historic Texas State Capitol, or even kayak tours on the nearby waterfront.

Day 3

Spend the morning and afternoon at your leisure taking in more of Austin’s sights and sounds. Then it’s time to head down to the track for this evening’s practice session and qualifying for the sprint race*. Day 4

After a day exploring this fascinating part of Texas, this evening you’ll be taking in all the action at the Circuit of the Americas. Today you’ll have the perfect vantage spot at the incline into the first corner as the drivers line up for the thrilling sprint race and qualifying to see who’ll lock out the front row for tomorrow’s race.

Day 5

Lights out today as you head back to the circuit for the big race. Coming at a crucial part of the season, this is always one of the most important dates on the racing calendar and you’ll be there to witness history being made.

Day 6

Spend this morning taking in downtown Austin and your hotel’s surrounds – The Driskill is a short distance from plenty of the city’s top sights including the Rainey Street Historic District and the picturesque Lady Bird Lake. This afternoon, you’ll be transferred back to the airport for your homeward flight to the UK.
