Since 18 March 2022, the rules around travel to England have changed.

All passengers are no longer required to take any COVID-19 tests before departing for England, or after you arrive in to England. The requirement to complete passenger locator forms has also been removed. Vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers may be required to take pre-holiday tests depending on the protocols of your airline or holiday destination.

Do I still need a COVID test before I travel? How do I get one?

Whether you need a COVID test before you travel depends on the destination you are visiting and the airline you are flying with. Many destinations and airlines, however, do not require this if travellers are fully vaccinated. Of course, we'll be happy to recommend a list of companies that can assist with this at a discounted rate. Just speak to your Luxury Travel Specialist for more information.

What type of COVID test do I need to take?

From 18 March, all passengers are no longer required to take any COVID-19 tests before departing for England, or after you arrive in to England. The requirement to complete passenger locator forms has also been removed.
However, both vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers may be required to take pre-holiday tests depending on the protocols of your airline or holiday destination. It should also be noted that free NHS tests cannot be used for travel, whether you are double vaccinated or not.
