There have been many favourite moments having worked for Elegant Resorts for a number of years. I have been lucky enough to fly on Concorde which was a childhood ambition of mine and my absolute favourite experience has to be a trip aboard the Venice-Simplon Orient Express.
I joined Elegant Resorts in 1997 and would describe this as my dream job! Having worked in a number of sales departments over the years I have been lucky enough to visit some fabulous destinations across the globe and work alongside some wonderful people.
I've been in travel for 24 years and have thoroughly enjoyed myself along the way! I joined Elegant Resorts in 1998 and have been fortunate enough to have explored most of Europe over the course of the years.
I have always had a love and passion for travel be it a safari in South Africa, diving in the Maldives or viewing the Taj Mahal as the sun sets.
I started working at Elegant Resorts when I was a teenager and haven’t looked back since. Over the years not only have I had lots of fun, met some great people and seen some stunning sights, but I understand what makes a true luxury holiday experience.
Working at Elegant Resorts has enabled me to experience so many memorable journeys whilst meeting some fantastic people along the way.
Hello and welcome to my profile. I hope that you enjoy finding out a little more about me and that I can help you plan your next luxury holiday soon.
I love exploring new destinations, venturing off-the-beaten-track and exploring like a local. From rafting in Costa Rica to horse-riding in Argentina, I've been lucky enough to explore and experience destinations I'd never dreamed of! Seeing a Kermode (Spirit Bear) in Canada was an amazing experience and one I feel very privileged to have enjoyed.
Since 2006 I have worked as a Caribbean specialist in the luxury travel industry and have been in my current position with Elegant Resorts since 2009, where I also cover North America. During this time I have been fortunate enough to travel many times to the Caribbean and have had the pleasure of experiencing many of the hotels within our portfolio.
Before Elegant Resorts, I was lucky enough to work and live in St Barths for 4 years. I have travelled to most places in the Caribbean and I thoroughly enjoy snorkelling, diving, hiking and sailing.
I feel extremely privileged to work for Elegant Resorts and have enjoyed a number of magical experiences along the way.
After over 22 years within the luxury travel industry, it remains just as exhilarating as it first did to experience our amazing properties and destinations!
Since I can remember I have always had a passion for travel, I think it was my first family holiday to Mallorca in the 70s that started it all. I have strong memories of lovely holidays with my parents and this is something I strive to emulate for my two children, Sophie 11 and Liam 7 years old.
Whether it is an idyllic honeymoon, or an extensive family adventure, I enjoy sharing my expert knowledge and securing the very best available for our clients.
Over the years I have gained a wide knowledge of luxury holidays all over the world. When I am on my own holidays I like to get out and explore. Whether it’s discovering the local area, or enjoying different activities, such as diving, I like to make the most of my time away.
Starting my travel career back in 2000, I can honestly say I have never even considered anything else at all. My career has taken me from Luxury Travel to Cabin Crew and now my feet are firmly back on the ground right where they belong in Luxury Travel once more. I have been so very lucky to have been able to travel and experience many of our destinations and hotels and love sharing my experience
I knew from my first holiday I wanted to work within travel. Back in 2006 whilst studying at university I started my career as airline ground staff, then joined as cabin crew before I found my passion as a travel consultant. I have been extremely fortunate to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience in different destinations, which I am always delighted to share.
I lived in Australia for 4 years, visiting every state in the country whilst I was there. I marvelled at the wondrous Ayres Rock and fell asleep under the brightest stars I had ever seen in the Australian outback! I also visited New Zealand and drove the entire length of the North and South Islands; you could say I have a passion for exploring!
Working in travel keeps me on my toes as no two days are the same. I get to explore the world, build relationships and create memories that last a lifetime.
