Spa & Wellness
The fabulous Spa at Mandarin Oriental is the place to sample a comprehensive menu of luxurious, pampering spa treatments and beauty and massage programmes using award-winning Aromatherapy Associates products. Located on the hillside, the secluded spa boasts twelve treatment rooms, including a couple’s suite, two outdoor cabanas in the terraced gardens, hammams, an outdoor vitality pool, an indoor pool and a dedicated studio in which to enjoy yoga or Pilates. In addition, there is a fully equipped fitness centre, two tennis courts, a basketball court, a jogging path that traverses Paradise Bay and a number of swimming pools dotted amongst the resort’s lush hillside
Occupying an idyllic location on the northern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, this Paradise Bay resort boasts two private sandy beaches, nestled at two convenient locations below the resort and lapped by crystal-clear Aegean water. There are sun loungers and umbrellas aplenty, along with a large wooden jetty replete with wooden sun loungers. In addition, the Blue Beach Club & Bar provides casual beachfront dining and drinks throughout the day.
Beyond the resort’s peaceful location, there is a wealth of areas to visit. Closest to the resort, Golturkbuku is a picturesque, exclusive little village of narrow streets, waterside restaurants and a peaceful bay, which is a popular stopover for passing super-yachts due to its popularity with well-heeled Turkish holidaymakers. There are a number of other lovely coastal villages to explore slightly further afield, along with a host of cultural sites to visit, including the 353 BC Tomb of Mausolus (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World) and a well-preserved open-air theatre, perched on the hill above Bodrum. Visit in the summer, and you may be able to coincide your visit with one of the theatre’s concerts.
