Each with a plant-themed name, Thyme’s 31 individually designed bedrooms and suites are set across two buildings: a Georgian rectory named the Lodge and the 17th century Farmhouse. Among these, there are five Garden Rooms with beautiful private gardens. While they alter in style and size, they each feature luxury mattresses and linen, premium tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary newspapers, bathrobes, bespoke toiletries, and home-made treats. Mini bars are replaced with honesty bar pantries in each building. Along with the rooms, Thyme is home to two standalone cottages for even more space and privacy. Please note that children aged 12 years and below are not able to stay in hotel rooms but can stay in the cottages.
Food at Thyme makes the very most of local produce, particularly that grown in the kitchen garden or sourced from the farm.

Dining & Gourmet
True paradise for epicureans, the hotel that stands today was built around the owner's cookery school, which still welcomes guests for a variety of interactive classes and workshops, with focus on fresh ingredients and sustainability. Begin with a tour of the kitchen garden or a visit to the local market, before crafting the seasonal produce into delicious dishes to devour. The culinary delights continue at The Ox Barn, the beautifully converted 19th century oxen house restaurant that serves up modern British cuisine using ingredients from the farm and locality. Reflecting this same passion for good food, the estate sits beside The Swan village pub, serving gorgeous gastro menus using yet more local produce.
Hotel Experiences
A stay at Thyme invites you to embrace the natural delights of the Cotswolds. Tours of the kitchen garden can be arranged to show you the heritage and heirloom vegetables, honeybees and black Welsh mountains sheep, or you can work up an appetite for breakfast with an early morning bird walk around the grounds. You can also join the hotel's head florist to celebrate and learn more about the fabulously fragrant flowers and foliage that grown around Thyme, creating your own hand-ties to take home.
Spa Breaks
In keeping with the peacefulness of the Cotswold countryside, the impressive Meadow Spa features five treatment rooms in which to enjoy your choice of a selection of treatments. Products are from award-winning, natural British brand, Aurelia Probiotic Skincare, focusing on natural ingredients and embracing the land's bounty. There is also a freshwater swimming pool, hot tub, yoga and pilates studio, tennis court and a variety of walking and cycling routes around the farm.
In Addition
Thyme is committed to operating sustainably, both socially and environmentally. While preserving the charm and heritage of the original estate buildings, the property is also as energy efficient as possible. Heating comes from ground source heat pumps and sustainable wood chip boilers, while sophisticated insulation solutions and ventilation recovery systems ensure no unnecessary energy use. A commitment to erase single-use plastics sees straws swapped for wheat blades, refillable glass bottles in hotel rooms, cling film replaced with beeswax papers, and many other measures in place. The swimming pool is filtered naturally through Cotswold limestone rather than by chemicals, while the spa uses the products of a natural British brand. Most of the food used in the restaurants is created using ingredients from the kitchen garden and farm, which uses modern farming techniques, or else local suppliers and artisans are used. The community awareness continues with Thyme supporting local organisations and charities through events, projects and charitable giving.
