Your tour of Perth begins with a visit to Kings Park, occupying approximately 400 hectares of Mount Eliza, and boasting sweeping parklands, a Botanic Garden, wildflowers and native bushland. Hop aboard the ferry from Fremantle to Rottnest Island, one of Western Australia’s most treasured islands. On arrival, choose to enjoy one of the many activities available - from a relaxing ride on the Island Explorer, unwinding on the beautiful beaches, or cycling around the island. Explore the iconic historical sites, including the Bathurst Lighthouse, before lunch along the water’s edge. Go in search of the super cute quokka on the world-famous quokka walk, learning more about this iconic marsupial. Visit the island’s museums and World War II relics, before boarding the ferry back to Perth.
Join a small group and expert guide as you explore the delights of the Ningaloo Reef, either swimming with whale sharks (if travelling between April and July) or Humpback Whales (if visiting between August and October). As you travel into the reef by boat, a spotter plane will lead overhead, searching for the spectacular species, as well as turtles, rays, dolphins, dugongs and sea birds. Learn more about the area's marine biology, join in with the data collection of vital scientific research, and snorkel at various sites along the UNESCO listed reef. A light morning tea, lunch and snacks throughout the day are included.
