Location and transfer
Sal Salis is approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes from Exmouth's Learmonth Airport by private car transfer. A scenic flight transfer over the limestone gorges of the Cape Range can also be arranged. When planning your tailor-made Australia tour, your Luxury Travel Specialist will advise the best travel arrangements for your itinerary.
Wildlife Encounters
A true paradise for wildlife fanatics, Sal Salis Ningaloo invites you to explore the protected reef and its spectacular species. Activities included in your stay range from sea kayaking above huge schools of fish, reef sharks and coral formations, to drift snorkelling just offshore (all equipment is provided). For an additional cost and if the season permits, the camp can arrange once-in-a-lifetime experience to swim with whale sharks or humpback whales, as well as private boat charters for fishing or snorkelling further afield. On land, complimentary guided walks take you through the Mandu Mandu Gorge, uncovering a range of wildlife and countless bird species. Various endemic plants can also be seen in the area, with an unusually high number of flowering species visible for an arid limestone area.
Luxury Beach
The national park surrounding Sal Salis is a place of rugged limestone ranges, dramatic deep canyons and 50 kilometres of pristine beaches. The camp itself is located on a stunning stretch of sand, offering easy access to the glorious waters of the Indian Ocean. Ningaloo is also a major breeding ground for Hawksbill, Loggerhead and Green Turtles which, during the right season, lay their eggs on the beach at night.
In Addition
Your stay will include all meals prepared by an onsite chef, an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, use of non-motorised watersports equipment, and daily guided activities - including reef snorkelling tours, kayaking excursions and more.
