Choose from the Garden, Beach or Cliff Villa, each stylishly decorated with African and Indian influences and luxurious furnishings hand-picked by the owners. Cliff Villa sleeps up to eight guests and is ideal for families, although there may be some debate as to who gets the luxurious Turret Suite, with its sweeping ocean views. The larger Garden Villa has four equally-sized bedrooms, making it ideal for a group of friends travelling together. The Beach Villa is suitable for couples or families, with four bedrooms split over the ground and first floor. Each villa has a private swimming pool and plenty of living space to relax and enjoy the views.
The menus at Alfajiri have a Mediterranean influence, probably due to the fact the owners, Fabrizio and Marica are Italian. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff - with parmesan and olive oil flown in weekly from Europe for guests. With its coastal location, seafood is in abundance and brought in fresh daily from the beach. Menus are created individually and complemented with a range of fine wines.
The villas at Alfajiri are perfect for families, with plenty of space to accommodate up to ten guests in the Garden Villa. Experienced nannies are available to look after children from a few months old up to 16 years of age. Flexible menus and dining times will be coordinated by your butler and chef, whilst the nannies can arrange activities so that parents can have that all important down time too - perhaps with the daily complimentary massage, enjoyed in your garden gazebo.
Diani Beach is one of Kenya’s best beaches and guests at Alfajiri can walk up to five miles in either direction along its stunning shoreline. The underwater world is worth exploration with coral reefs suitable for diving and snorkelling, whilst kite-surfing is growing in popularity here. Sailing trips on a traditional dhow boats are also available. Head to Kisite Marine National Park, famous for its turtles, dolphins and seasonal migration of whales.
