Spa Breaks
The village of Daylesford sits in the heart of spa country, so known for the abundance of hot springs that punctuate the region. In fact, it boasts the largest number of natural mineral springs in Australia and the largest concentration of holistic therapists in the southern hemisphere. The Spa at the Lake House is no exception and features an extensive treatment menu of signature rituals, facials, and massages using their own small batch bath and body products.
Dining & Gourmet
It would be hard to find a better regional restaurant than the Lake House in Daylesford. Offering a menu which is dictated entirely by the seasons and Mother Nature, the dining here is off the scale. The dining room hold two chefs' hats (the Australian equivalent of the Michelin Star) and consistently delivers outstanding modern, Australian cuisine. The kitchen works with small scale local suppliers and produce from their own farm, Dairy Flat, which is less than 10 minutes from the Lake House. With magnificent views, a resident kookaburra family, and flocks of cockatoos congregating in the 40-year-old gum trees, the Lake House offers a sensational, Australian dining experience.
