After pickup from Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, prepare to experience first-hand the solitude and magic of the Canadian Rockies in the wintertime. Begin with a helicopter flight for front-row glacier views, before a scenic snowshoe tour and horse-drawn sleigh ride, complete with a delicious hot chocolate. The next part of your adventure takes you to Abraham Lake via helicopter to see the famous ice bubbles. This stunning, wide open lake completely freezes over in the winter and in the process, traps methane gas underneath the ice, creating a spectacular visual display. Spend the following day skiing the three main areas known as the Big 3, all within easy reach and offering a variety of pistes. Lake Louise boasts the longest ski season in Canada from November to May, Sunshine Village has challenging downhill runs, and Norquay is the smallest of the resorts, with plenty of nursery slopes.
Take a private car transfer to Fairmont Banff Springs.
