Day 4 to 6 Accommodation

Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy

Journey deeper into Kenya’s wild northern frontier to Namunyak Conservancy, home of Sarara Camp, a place where conservation and culture are beautifully intertwined. Sarara is 100% community owned and the embodiment of how tourism can sustain and support both wildlife and people.

An unmissable experience is a visit to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary. Africa’s first community owned elephant rescue and release centre, meet the Samburu keepers who care for the orphaned elephants until they can live safely in the wild and hear their stories of coexistence. Hearing the keepers sing the names of the elephants in the Samburu language as they return from their time in the bush for feeding is a truly magical moment.
