Day 1 Accommodation

Arrive in the capital of Finnish Lapland and meet your transfer to Octola Lodge & Private Wilderness. Day 2 Accommodation

Finnish Lapland

Your first adventure is snowmobiling through the enchanting snow-covered landscape. Set off along winding forest trails, exploring the endless white expanse and soaking in the profound stillness all around you. Mini snowmobiles are available for children. Lunch is served in a traditional wooden “kota” (Lappish hut), where an open fire at its heart offers a welcome warmth after hours outside. In the afternoon, return to the lodge to unwind in the estate’s spa – with expanses of glass that frame the winter wonderland views, the stylish swimming pool offers a serene space to float in comfort while remaining connected to the Arctic scenery beyond. As evening falls, and if conditions are favourable, head back out in search of the northern lights, watching as the sky comes alive in moments of shifting colours overhead. After a delicious three-course chef-prepared dinner, there’s no better way to end the day than in the sauna, where a panoramic window looks out onto snow-capped trees, or in the outdoor hot tub, beneath clear skies scattered with countless stars.

Today begins with arguably the most quintessential of Arctic experiences – a thrilling husky ride. As you travel deep into the woods, powered by the endless energy of the dogs, the sound of their paws on the snow and the soft hiss of the sledge gliding across the trail create an unforgettable soundscape. Later, choose between ice skating on a frozen lake or a helicopter flight above Rovaniemi. A delicious three-course dinner is the perfect prelude to an evening snowmobiling adventure – lit only by your snowmobile’s headlights, the vast landscape feels more intimate at this time of day, with the chance to stop and look up at star-filled skies and, if you’re fortunate, the first hints of the northern lights beginning to appear.

In the morning, there’s time to either ice skate or enjoy a scenic helicopter flight, depending on which option you chose the day before. After a hearty lunch, embark on a high-adrenaline Arctic driving experience, taking the wheel of a rally-style car or Can-Am off-road vehicle along purpose-built ice tracks – a true one-of-a-kind winter adventure. Tonight, your three-course dinner is accompanied by a traditional joik performance, a Sámi artist using their voice alone to create an intimate connection with the spirit of the Arctic.
