Before your jet adventure across Australia, spend some time exploring Melbourne.
Transfer to Melbourne Airport to board your jet, specially designed for outback touring, complete with huge windows and great capabilities for short airstrips. Fly to the Flinders Ranges and check-in to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary.
The first stop on your Australia itinerary is the iconic Flinders Ranges, the largest mountain range in South Australia, boasting some of the country’s most dramatic and beautiful scenery, as well as awe-inspiring red sunsets and many Aboriginal treasures. From your base here, embark on the adrenaline-pumping 4WD Ridgetop Tour, complete with white-knuckle climbs, as well as gazing at the stars from the fully equipped observatory.
Fly to Karijini National Park, across some of Australia’s most remote and spectacular landscapes, and check-in to Karijini Eco Retreat, a deluxe tented camp.
Spend two nights staying amid the Karijini National Park, characterised by breathtaking gorges, striking waterfalls and ochre-red ranges. Enjoy a full day guided tour of the gorges, including the famed Joffre Falls, before a picnic lunch and the chance to swim at the lovely shaded Fern Pool, important to the Aboriginal locals. From here, you can also visit the famous mining town of Tom Price to glimpse one of the largest open cut iron-ore mines in the world.
Fly to Broome and check-in to Cable Beach Club Resort.
Stay directly on the perfect white sands of the iconic Cable Beach, taking a dip in the turquoise waters, before exploring the vibrant resort of Broome.
Fly over the beautiful Buccaneer Archipelago to Mount Hart Station. From here, transfer to your luxury adventure cruise ship, MV Great Escape.
Your home for the next four nights is the luxurious MV Great Escape, as you sail through the wonderfully scenic wilderness of the Kimberley. Stops include Raft Point, where you can hike up to a cave filled with Wandjina paintings, and the super scenic Sale River, from which the tenders will take you for a barbecue lunch on a stunning sandy beach. Finally, discover the rich cultural history and diverse marine life – including dugong and turtles - at Montgomery Reef.
Disembark the ship in Broome and fly to El Questro Station Homestead.
El Questro Station Homestead is an oasis of understated luxury, perched on a clifftop overlooking the Chamberlain River towards the unnamed, ancient wilderness of the East Kimberley. Staying here, you can experience the natural wonders of Chamberlain Gorge and Zebedee Springs when they are closed to the public, while activities range from 4WD tours to barramundi fishing.
