Dining & Gourmet
There are also three exceptional restaurants at Alpina Gstaad, all supervised by the Executive Chef, Mr. Martin Göschel. Whether you wish to dine on the gourmet menu and divinely prepared steaks at Michelin-starred Sommet, taste sushi at MEGU, where the chefs have been trained at the original New York flagship restaurant, or settle down in the cosy atmosphere of Swiss Stübli for some traditional raclette or fondue, you can be assured every dish will impress with its authentic flavour and fresh ingredients.
Ski
Diverse terrains surrounding the luxurious Alpina Gstaad offer something for every age and ability when it comes to skiing. The only glacier ski area in the region, Glacier 3000 provides incredible downhill skiing with spectacular views over twenty-four snow-capped peaks, whilst Wispile is a family-friendly mountain with ideal conditions for youngsters to safely enjoy their first time on the slopes. Ski instructors can be organised at the hotel, for expert guidance, whilst the complimentary shuttle service makes light work of getting to nearby ski lifts.
Spa Breaks
The heart of the hotel is its fantastic Six Senses Spa. A true sanctuary of peace and wellbeing, the treatments are inspired by Asian and local Swiss traditions, culminating in exquisite curative massages and skincare treatments. With Integrated Wellness programmes also available, guests may use their time at the hotel to combine their spa treatments with nutritional and fitness advice, with before-hand and follow-up screenings to track progress made. For the health conscious, there is also a relaxation area, featuring a juice bar, along with an exercise room where yoga and Pilates sessions are held. Alternatively, take a swim in the heated garden swimming pool or indoor lap pool, before winding down in the whirlpool.
