Compact and charming, Magashi comprises just six luxury tents that combine contemporary amenities with traditional Rwandan accents. Each features an en suite bathroom with plush bathrobes, premium toiletries and vanity kits, while there is also a dressing area and writing desk. Unwind in your lounge area or overlooking the park on your own outdoor viewing deck. A mini safe and complimentary mini bar are also included.

As well as the its game, Akagera National Park is renowned for its abundance of birdlife - with some 500 species calling the park home. You can join rangers on guided bird walks, keeping your eyes peeled for rare species around the park’s lakes. Boating excursions can also be arranged across Lake Rwanyakazinga – home to crocodiles, hippopotamus and plenty of fish species.
