Luxury Beach
Overlooking the picturesque white-sand beach of Little Oneroa, The Boatshed is an alternative paradise for lovers of sun, sand and sea. The authentic yet luxurious beach huts give a true sense of the seaside, boasting stunning views over Oneroa Bay. Unwind with an ice-cream on the water's edge, dip your toes in the turquoise waves or adventure along one of the many pretty coastal paths. Sail across the bay with luxury cruises - offering everything from parties to romantic trips to fishing - or discover the underwater beauty of the Hauraki Gulf, with certified PADI diving courses and trips available nearby.
Romance
With enchanting views over the sun-drenched bay of Oneroa, the luxurious suites of the Boatshed provide an intimate and romantic couple's retreat. Explore stunning Waiheke Island together with wine tasting at a world-renowned vineyard, or whilst walking along the coast hand-in-hand. Enjoy a delicious gourmet picnic on the beach, before harmonising with a sensual side-by-side massage from the privacy of your suite. Indulge in some precious alone time over a fresh seafood platter for two - or any bespoke dinner - on your intimate, candle-lit balcony.
Spa Breaks
The Spa is a therapeutic hideaway gently touched by the sound of ocean waves and peaceful sea breezes. Treatments include hot stone facials, massage, body wraps and scrubs as well as hot oil head massage and pressure point remedies.
In Addition
An absolute must while staying at The Boathouse is to hire the hotel’s Mini Moke – a light military-style vehicle which resembles an American Jeep and has been affectionately named ‘Togs’ – for the day (for a small charge). Togs may not be the most luxurious of vehicles, but it does boast an iPod compatible sound-system and enough charm to seduce even the most sceptical of guests. Take him out between 8am and midnight and enjoy everything the area has to offer – from vineyards, to peaceful bays and local art galleries, stopping for picnic lunches and dusky dinners en route.
