Wildlife Encounters
Set within a 9000 hectare conservation reserve, the Zannier Reserve by N/a’an ku se^, the lodge promises an unparalleled opportunity to enjoy the extraordinary beauty and diverse wildlife of the area in exquisite luxury. Initially intended to be developed into an urban area, the creation of the conservation area has not only saved the wildlife that called the area their home, but has also helped regenerate and reintroduce species. Local guides relay their expertise on a variety of excursions and safaris into the plains surrounding the hotel, travelling in open safari vehicles at sunrise or evening when the animals are at their most active. Searching for rhinos, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, and leopards is an exciting and memorable experience, as well as spotting a variety of other wildlife. Private tours offer the opportunity to track rhinos, elephants, and leopards, and a visit to the Shiloh Wildlife Sanctuary is sure to inspire, as you hear all about the work they do rescuing and taking care of endangered creatures. Enjoy the unique opportunity to walk with cheetahs and baboons here and visit the anti-poaching unit to learn about how they protect the reserve.
Spa Breaks
The entire ethos of the lodge focuses on personal wellbeing in a space that allows you to be completely at one with nature. Disconnect from everyday life and let the tranquil surroundings ground you, connect with the beauty all around, and allow your body and mind to rest and refresh. A serene spa in a traditional hut building offers two double treatment rooms with therapies inspired by Namibian culture. Embracing age-old healing techniques, beauty recipes that replicate ancient Namibian beliefs, and cultural traditions with therapies designed to encompass mind, body and spirit, the fantastic menu of treatments promises to relax and rejuvenate in a nurturing, restful environment.
