Experience the joy of the great outdoors at Finca Rosa Blanca with a fantastic range of adventures to embark upon. One of the must-dos while you are here is to explore the Irazú volcano, an accessible volcano within a few miles of the hotel. You can also hike through the lush cloud forest to Barva Volcano, which sits just above the resort, where you can stand on the continental divide and admire the beautiful wildlife or take a zip line canopy tour. Bijagual Waterfall, which is the tallest in Costa Rica, also makes an adventurous day out, plus you can white-water raft down the Pacuare River for another adrenaline kick! With plenty of places to explore, you won't be short of adventures.

With over 130 species sighted at the hotel, you won't have to travel far to see some diverse birdlife, though you may wish to hike out to Barva Volcano to see if you can spot the vibrant plumages of the famed resplendent quetzals. In addition, you can also head out to the Tirimbina Biological Reserve to walk the suspended bridge and try to spot sloths and spider monkeys in the trees or Carara National Park to see scarlet macaws. Board a boat ride down the Tárcoles River if you are brave enough to sight one of the country’s largest species, the American crocodile, or take a hike through Braulio Carrillo National Park to see the hummingbirds, toucans and anteaters who reside there. Wherever you go, you are sure to encounter some colourful wildlife!
