Wildlife Encounters
On the doorstep of Tofino's spectacular wildlife, Wickaninnish Inn offers a luxurious base from which to discover the Pacific Rim's range of awe-inspiring landscapes and seascapes - easily explored across a variety of nature trails that set off from the Inn. Between May and October, encounter - alongside a trained expert - the striking Vancouver Island Black Bear as it comes out of hibernation, on a safe and breathtaking bear-watching tour. No Tofino experience is complete without taking to the open Pacific on a whale-watching tour; encounter sea lions, seals, sea otters and a variety of seabirds, alongside the stars of the show: striking Grey and Humpback whales.
Luxury Beach
Making the most of its spectacular position on the edge of the North Pacific, The Wickaninnish Inn offers direct access to picturesque Chesterman Beach, as well as panoramic ocean or beach views from every guest room. Breathe in the fresh sea air as you stroll across the golden sand, cycle along the stunning coast, spot striking bird species, or, if conditions permit, take to the waves on your surfboard.
Spa Breaks
Nestled amongst the centuries-old rainforest, Ancient Cedars Spa looks across fabulous Pacific Ocean scenery and delivers a full menu of rejuvenating spa treatments, including organic skincare and Aveda haircare. Guests can enjoy various beauty treatments, including manicures and pedicures, as well as nutrient-infused spa remedies using natural ingredients, such as hand-harvested seaweed collected from Vancouver Island. There's also Rainforest Haven, a beautiful yoga studio where guests can enjoy semi-private daily yoga classes (charges apply).
In Addition
While staying at Wickaninnish Inn, there are plenty of treks and walks to embark on, including complimentary Saturday and Wednesday morning nature hikes led by a local naturalist.
