Located on Chief’s Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta, the Mombo concession covers 45,000 hectares. The eco-systems are varied with open floodplains, riverine forests and mopane woodlands attracting a variety and abundance of wildlife. Large concentrations of giraffe and Burchell’s zebra are often seen on the morning and afternoon game drives, while lion, leopard and hyena prowl amongst the lechwe, tsessebe and wildebeest.
The intimate setting of Little Mombo is ideal for couples. After a morning safari, private brunches can be arranged in the bush, while lazy afternoons can be spent relaxing in the private plunge pool, watching as wildlife passes through camp.
