Martha's Table, Soufriere

A laid-back family spot, Martha's Table is a great place for lunch or dinner. Run by Martha, this family-run restaurant serves up local Creole-inspired dishes made with love. Martha's Table isn't a luxury lunch spot, but it's one that has love and care built into it, and you'll feel that from the moment you step inside.

The Pink Plantation House, Castries

Authentic Caribbean Cuisine with a French influence, the Pink Plantation House is a relatively new addition to the St Lucian food scene; it's been a welcome one. With lunch and dinner options, the food here has been inspired by long-established family recipes, combing authentic Creole flavours with a bit of French flair.

Spice of India, Gros Islet

If you are looking for something outside of traditional St Lucian cuisine, then Spice of India is a good idea. Doing what it says on the tin, Spice of India offers traditional Indian Tandoori dishes cooked lovingly by Chef Adil. With over 20 years in the industry, you'll be able to enjoy dishes, including bhunas, curries, daals, and more.

Spice of India is open for both lunch and dinner service. Their lunch menu changes daily but will always follow the same concept offering two meets, two vegetables, rice, bread and dessert. This tasting menu can give you an overview of the amazing dishes Chef Adil is cooking up and is perfect for foodies.

Fedo's, Soufriere

Hidden away in a residential neighbourhood of Soufriere, you'd be forgiven for seeing Fedo's and not thinking it's a restaurant; however, the smells of the food wafting from this eatery are sure to turn your head. Away from the tourist hubs, Fedo's is a hidden gem that only those in the know are likely to uncover.

Fedo's isn't a five-star restaurant, but it doesn't pretend that it is. It serves up hearty and authentic meals at low prices. The fish creole is one of their most popular dishes, and be sure to enjoy some of the local fruit juice whilst you dine - it's delicious!

Key Largo Italian, Gros Islet

Passionate about pizza? Just because you're in the Caribbean, you don't need to worry about missing out on your favourites, and Key Largo Italian in Rodney Bay is perfect for serving up some Italian fare. Considered the best pizza on the island, Key Largo woodfires its pies for an authentic flavour. They also serve up pasta dishes, salads and desserts.

Open since 1989, this family-run business is a great place for those who love Italian food. And the space has a lot of charm, with booths by the window and oftentimes entertainment to be enjoyed when you eat. And, of course, to get a real taste of holiday, be sure to order from their extensive cocktail menu.

Treetop Restaurant and Bar, Soufriere

Another restaurant inspired by the tastes of the eat, Treetop Restaurant and Bar is an Indian-fusion restaurant that has a menu just as impressive as its views - and the views are outstanding! As the name suggests, you'll be literally in the treetops and have views of the beautiful Pitons.

Their three-course fixed menu will give you a selection of delicious dishes to sample, all inspired by Indian flavours. You'll also be able to enjoy sipping on cocktails made to your exact taste by their resident mixologist

The Beacon Restaurant, Soufriere

Another restaurant that can offer you views of the Piltons is The Beacon Restaurants. Offering a buffet of traditional St Lucian food, you'll be able to enjoy your fill of hot and cold dishes - perfect for sampling a range of local dishes. From plantain to chicken curry, you'll have plenty to choose from, including a great selection of vegetarian options.

On a sunny day, the views from The Beacon Restaurant are unmatched, and if you snag a table on the edge of the restaurant, you'll want to spend all day staring out over the Pitons peaks and Soufriere below.

Jacques Waterfront Dining, Gros Islet

We finish at one of the most popular restaurants in St Lucia, Jacques Waterfront Dining. An elegant restaurant, you'll have to book to get a waterside table, but it's worth the effort.
