Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to travel extensively throughout the Caribbean and Indian Ocean to some of the most breathtaking places in the world and enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences - many of which we feature here in the Elegant Resorts portfolio!

I started my career in the travel industry back in 1995, working for a high street travel agency before venturing into the world of luxury travel in the year 2000.

Barbados

I absolutely adore the Maldives for its barefoot luxury and total escapism, but the Caribbean islands really have my heart! I love the laidback feel, the people, and the rich culture - but my Jamaican family won't forgive me if I don't mention the beautiful island of Jamaica!

Memorable Hotel Experience

Baros Maldives

Dining out on a sandbank in the middle of the Indian Ocean under the stars just the most incredible romantic setting, then the water coming in and lapping at our feet meant it was time to head back to the main island!

If you're travelling by small plane, make sure to pack some overnights bits in your hand luggage just in case you get there before your luggage!

Try the local food! One of my favourite travel memories is enjoying the local fish fry in Barbados!
