Introducing Four Seasons’ Private Jet Journeys
Whilst Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts is world-renowned for their luxurious, five-star hotels and resorts, plus their impeccable service, a privileged few are also familiar with their exceptionally exclusive private jet journeys. By combining the ultimate way to travel, with a series of engaging global itineraries and money-cannot-buy attractions, Four Seasons has compiled an inspiring cocktail of luxury destinations with incredible experiences – the exceptional detail and customised jet travel being the tempting cherry on the top! Far from an over-the-top odyssey, these are well-orchestrated journeys for the discerning traveller.
Boasting a truly bespoke and superlative service, with finely honed ground arrangements and on-board services, each special journey provides a truly enticing itinerary where guests have nothing to organise or concern themselves about – they simply need to choose which dining option to consider, or which cultural tour to join! Visas, luggage, currency, excursions, guides, itineraries, accommodation and dietary requests are all expertly pre-arranged throughout the journey. Privileged guests need only relax, sink into their sumptuous, white Italian-leather seat, consult their personalised iPad (pre-loaded with films, destination guides and tailored preferences), put on their Bose, noise-cancelling, headphones, and embrace all the finery that seems to magically unfold – the free-flowing Dom Perignon Champagne, frequent gifts and novel surprises, expert hosts and tantalising cuisine all come very much as standard with Four Seasons! As the jet only flies during daytime, plus always west, any jet-lag is carefully kept to a minimum. Ground stops are always overnight and last for two to three nights, to enable clients to fully acclimatise and have sufficient time to explore or relax within each destination. With a level of flexibility that many might warrant impractical or inconvenient, Four Seasons Jet guests can change their daily itinerary at will – they can choose to dine alone, spend time relaxing within a hotel, or forego an excursion without issue.
My own jubilant experience started on Valentine’s Day – my colleague and I joined the journey, with fellow guests, in Prague. Our morning began in style with a pre-arranged and fully hosted excursion to Prague Castle. As the official residence of the president of the Czech Republic, the ninth century UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest castle complex in the world and comprises many palaces and religious buildings. It was quite remarkable to see the cloister, church and famous Loreta clock tower, whose bells have chimed the hours since 1965. To reveal too much would spoil the effect and undo their incredible feats! The highlight for day two, however, included a private cruise on the scenic Vltava River, including a brunch, a Baroque Walking Tour through the Lesser Quarter and a wonderful afternoon at the Estates Theatre. Here, we were ushered into a private area and a string quartet treated us to a selection of Mozart favourites whilst we sipped Champagne!
Later we were whisked back to the Four Seasons Hotel Prague, where we enjoyed time at leisure, before a superb hosted dinner.
With dining aptly tailored to the destination, and seemingly with no expense spared, our second evening was spent being entertained with a private gala dinner at The Lobkowicz Palace, within the Prague Castle complex. Having been escorted to an area where few people are able to access, we were thoroughly spoilt with classical music, a talk by American, William Lobkowicz, and exquisite cuisine. Dining amongst priceless Old Master antiquities, being personally shown private collections and hearing fascinating anecdotes from illustrious dignitaries, is all part of the Four Seasons Jet red carpet experience.
As sad as it was to leave Prague, the thrill of seeing the Four Season Jet, to fly to London, was contagious. As the snow fell, I could see the plane proudly standing on the tarmac, courting a paparazzi of attention from the VIP Lounge. The contrast of the white snow and plane’s black livery was resplendent. Being a unique Boeing 757, it is not hard to miss! Whilst usually carrying 239 guests as a passenger plane, the Four Seasons Jet is customised to seat just fifty-two privileged guests and our fellow guests were certainly excited for the next leg of their incredible journey. We couldn’t help but notice their enthusiasm for being ‘back on board’ with the friendly all-British crew. A guest only had to casually mention something and an extra bespoke detail was created – such as a favourite tipple appearing after their meal.
Luxurious private jet travel is only a fraction of the Four Seasons attraction. By seamlessly combining the supreme comfort and reassuring convenience of private jet travel, with some of the world’s most iconic landmarks, exotic islands and sumptuous hotels, guests are assured of an exemplary journey throughout. The jet becomes a guest’s safe haven, an aerial home-from-home, with staff and friends always on hand. Reassuringly inclusive and exclusive, the journeys deliver intimate and insightful experiences, with wondrous surprises along the way. Four Seasons Jet travel revolves around circling the world in elegant and reassuring style, complimented by a stunning collection of exclusive experiences, which are truly unique.
