With its 150 canals, 400 bridges and magnificent 16th and 17th century palaces and piazzas, it is no surprise that Venice is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world! Allow a Gondolier to serenade you as you traverse the network of canals, or hop on a vaporetto (water taxi) at dusk and watch the sunset. Famous sights include the Bridge of Sighs and St Mark’s Square which is dominated by St Mark’s Basilica.
Take a private car transfer to the port and embark SeaDream II, before setting sail towards Trieste.
Spend time in Trieste, a charming, underestimated city with an almost Eastern European atmosphere. Explore quaint coffeehouses, restaurants and stunning architecture. Trieste was also the residence of famous Irish writer, James Joyce.
A day in Koper can include a leisurely walking tour of the pretty medieval Old Town, a visit to the flea market, shopping on Shoemaker Street, climbing the Bell Tower at Tito Square, and traversing the Koper Regional Museum.
Set within medieval walls, UNESCO-awarded Trogir is considered to be one of the oldest and most exciting villages along the Adriatic Coast. Possible land adventures in the area include rafting on the Cetina River, walking tours along the maze-like marble streets and sampling Croatian wines on a ‘The Birthplace of Zinfandel’ tour.
Split is one of the oldest cities in the area and the second largest city behind Dubrovnik in Croatia. A tour of World Heritage Site Diocletian’s Palace as well as the Mestrovic Gallery is offered in one of SeaDream’s unique land adventures, along with exploring the Split archipelago by speedboat. Seafront promenade Riva is also well worth a visit, where you can people-watch from the bustling cafés and restaurants.
Travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s only coastal town Neum, the country’s only access point to the Adriatic Sea. Its peaceful bay offers the perfect conditions for waterbased activities including scuba-diving and yachting, or you can simply relax on one of the beaches – the region’s best-kept secrets.
Wander around the spectacular city walls that encircle Dubrovnik, absorbing fantastic views of the Old Town and the glistening Adriatic Sea beyond. Punctuated by towers, bastions, castles and fortresses, this is one of the most beautiful and renowned fortification complexes in the Mediterranean. The ship will dock overnight in Dubrovnik, sailing early the next morning.
Kotor is the most beautiful and best-preserved town in Montenegro. Land adventures include a walking discovery of the Old Town, built between the 12th and 14th centuries, coastal biking and hikes up to the fortress of San Giovanni, offering spectacular views of The Old Town and Boka Bay.
Located on the Albanian Riviera, visit this almost unknown, picture-perfect destination within Albania’s Butrint National Park. Within the park, paths lead to UNESCO World Heritage site Butrint, a former ancient city containing an enchanting 3rd century BC theatre still in use today. The area is also known for its beautiful paradise beaches with white sand and crystal-clear waters.
Itea is the gateway to the incredible site of Delphi, which is within the top three archaeological attractions in Greece, inscribed as a UNESCO Heritage Site in 1987. Your guide will show you the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo, where Pythia, the celebrated Oracle dwelt, the Temple of Apollo, the Sacred Way, the amphitheatre, the best-preserved stadium of Greece, and the Castalia Spring, where pilgrims had to wash before they were allowed to interact with the Oracle. In the Delphi Museum, see treasures such as the Omphalos, which marked the centre of the world, and the magnificent bronze Charioteer, one of the finest pieces surviving from the 5th century BC.
Make your way through Corinth Canal to arrive in Athens (Piraeus). Disembark and take a private car transfer to Hotel Grande Bretagne, A Luxury Collection Hotel.

During your city break, visit the Acropolis and The Parthenon – Athens’ greatest symbol, peruse the Acropolis Museum which houses some of Greece’s finest treasures, take a stroll along the Ancient Promenade and head up to Mount Hymettus, to enjoy incredible city views.
