TOUR EXCURSIONS

Cape Town and Table Mountain for Families
Full Day Private Tour

Your family day begins with a cable car ride up iconic Table Mountain where, at the top, you can enjoy a break for hot chocolate and baked goodies. Back down at sea level, hop on your bicycles and cycle along the Sea Point Promenade, where children lead the exploration with their own interactive maps.

Then, if you're travelling with older children and teens, it's time to explore the city’s uplifting urban art projects, District Six and interactive sites like the Apartheid Benches. Families with younger kids proceed to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for an afternoon exploring the estate. Follow a treasure map which leads between tree-top canopy walk-ways and prehistoric cycad gardens (complete with dinosaurs). Jump over stepping stones, climb Van Riebeek’s historic hedge and barrel down lawns in search of Claud the Clawless Otter.

End the day at the beach and, while parents sip sundowners with their feet in the sand, tired, happy kids burn away the last of their energy, making use of the on-board toy box to play beach games with their energetic guide.

Cape Peninsula For Families
Private Full Day Tour

Leave captivating Cape Town behind and stop at a scenic location for hot chocolate and shark stories, before visiting the charming seals that call Kalk Bay home and the African penguins that dominate Boulders Beach. More wildlife encounters await at Cape Point, as your expert guide helps you to spot the Cape 5 - ostrich, baboon, mountain zebra, bontebok and tortoise - as you wander along scenic hiking trails, keeping your eyes out for treasure. A fun furnicular ride up to Cape Point Lighthouse affords amazing views over the ocean. En route back to Cape Town, you'll stop at a local farm village for homemade ice-cream, and either head to the beach or stop at an old fort look-out for magical views.

Ocean Safari in Plettenberg Bay
Boat Tour

Departing from Central Beach with an exciting launch, your ecological adventure travels east past the bird sanctuary and Keurbooms Beach to Arch Rock, with the chance to encounter Bottlenose dolphins and the rare Indo-Pacific Humpback dolphins, as well as some shark species. Travelling back along the inside of Robberg, witness the landscape’s unique geology from our unusual viewpoint and observe the growing Cape Fur Seal Colony. Finally, head back along the Robberg beach, while a brief rundown on the history of the area is given. After passing the Beacon Island Hotel, built on the site of an original Whaling Station, end the experience with an exhilarating landing on Central Beach!

BEST TIME TO TRAVEL

Due to regional climates and wildlife behaviours, South Africa can be enjoyed all year round. The Cape is warm and dry between November and February, when the north is wetter – and great for birding. May to September is generally best for game.
