This terrific two-week itinerary takes in the very best of East Africa. After visiting Kenya’s famed Maasai Mara, discover the open plains of the iconic Serengeti in Tanzania, before exploring the incredible landscapes of the Ngorongoro Crater.  If you're travelling between July and September, there is a good chance of seeing the Great Migration, one of the greatest wildlife spectaculars in the world, as thousands of wildebeest and zebra journey from the northern Serengeti and into the Maasai Mara. Though this itinerary can be enjoyed year-round, June to October is generally the best time to visit Kenya and Tanzania, due to the lack of rain and humidity. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra also takes place between July and October. Zanzibar enjoys a warm, sunny climate throughout the year, with rain most frequent in April and May.
