Day 1 - Arrive in Style

Day 2 - Welcome to Havana
Your introduction to Havana can’t get any better than with a tour in a restored 1950s classic American car. A result of a ban on imported cars for decades, these iconic cars are a big part of Cuba’s charm. After exploring the pedestrianised streets of Old Havana by foot and visiting the Spanish fortifications that protected the colony from pirates, hop into your vintage vehicle to visit the Capitol building. Next, drive on to the astounding Colon Cemetery and Plaza de la Revolucion, where you will see the colossal image of Che Guevara gracing the wall and a memorial to Cuban hero, Jose Marti. Finally, cruise the coastline until you reach the home of Ernest Hemingway, Finca Vigia, where you can tour the leafy country estate before returning to your hotel and relaxing for the evening.
Day 3 - Viñales Valley
Today, you will leave behind the hustle and bustle of Havana to discover the tranquillity of Viñales Valley. Having been picked up at your hotel by a fully air-conditioned coach, make the 110-mile journey to this UNESCO World Heritage Site, stopping to see the Biosphere Reserve of Soroa; made up of waterfalls and orchid gardens, it is known as the ‘rainbow of Cuba’. Once you have arrived at Viñales Valley, you will take a motorboat tour through the ‘Indian Cave’, stroll through the local village and discover the secret hideaway of Palenque de los Cimarrones. You can also visit the Casa del Veguero plantation to learn the art of tobacco farming and cigar-rolling before enjoying a late lunch at a local restaurant and returnining to Havana for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
Day 4 - Tastebuds at the Ready...
It’s time to get to know the food of Cuba with a farm-to-fork experience at one of the country’s most innovative eco farms. You will be greeted at the Rancho with a feast of seasonal produce to try before the farm manager teaches you about the organic methods used to grow them. Next, you will visit the stables to meet the animals and take a horseback or traditional cart tour around the surrounding area, followed by a cheese, meat and bread tasting, Finally, enjoy lunch at Mediterráneo Restaurant before spending the rest of the day at your own leisure.
Day 5 - The Man Behind the Motors
During your final day in Havana you will visit Nostalgicar workshop, where abandoned cars are brought back to life by the family-owned business that had the honour of restoring a car for Michelle Obama to ride in during her visit to Cuba. The owner, Julio – who was thanked for his efforts with an invitation to the Whitehouse! – will give you exclusive insights into how he rescues and repairs old Chevrolets, with knowledge passed down by his father, before cruising back through Havana in style to enjoy your final night in Cuba.
After your day excursions, you have the afternoon and evening to enjoy Havana on your own terms or to take it easy at your beautiful luxury hotel. Dinner and evening shows can be arranged with our representatives, allowing you to be immersed in the music and culture of Cuba! Be sure to spend an evening at Cabaret Tropicana, where Carmen Miranda performed, or Cabaret Parisien, where a merging of musical influences created the unique Cuban sound.
