Cape Town is a year-round destination however the summer months of December to March are the warmest and most popular. For safaris however, the cooler winter months of May to August provide the best game viewing due to the shorter grass.

Cape Town, South Africa

Staying at

One&Only Cape Town

Cape Town, with its host of unique attractions, provides a playground for children and adults alike. The hotel's unique KidsOnly club, with its huge state-of-the-art clubhouse, offers children aged four to 11 years old a host of exciting adventures. Themed days - safari, ocean, environment, birds and bugs - draw upon the geography and culture of Cape Town, educating children whilst keeping them entertained. Thrilling, supervised excursions to places such as a penguin colony and cheetah encounters continue this learning for the younger kids, whilst teenagers can enjoy sandboarding, rock-climbing and tailored spa treatments.

Simply step out of the resort to enjoy strolling around Cape Town's famed harbour area, visiting shops and cafes, as well as a range of interactive museums. Alternatively, children will love to take a boat excursion to see Robben Island, join a local wildlife safari, hike through the striking flora or fauna, visit the beautiful botanical gardens, take a picnic on the beach at Camps Bay, or cycle through the nearby Cape Winelands.

This resort is the perfect base to explore the many attractions of the V&A Waterfront and Cape Peninsula. Families can take the cable car up Table Mountain, hike amongst the flora and fauna, cycle through stunning winelands, picnic on the beach at Camps Bay, or visit the African Penguins at Boulders Beach.
