After an early breakfast, you will take the scenic train from Kandy to Hatton, witnessing magical landscapes and views, before checking into your luxury accommodation and spending the rest of the day at your leisure. The following day, enjoy a visit to a local tea factory to learn about the story of the famous Ceylon Tea. You will visit a plantation, and observe how the plant is grown and harvested before travelling to a factory, and learning about the whole tea processing procedure and how different types of teas are created. Spend the afternoon enjoying everything your accommodation offers, from scenic walking trails and mountain biking to spa treatments and luxury baths.

Following an early breakfast you will take a scenic drive to the wilderness of Yala, witnessing the scenery morph from lush green tea fields to drier valleys and thick jungles before arriving at your accommodation.That evening and the following day, enjoy a game drive into the Yala National Park with the rangers of Chena Huts on a 4x4 Jeep, spotting sambhur, wild boar, water buffalo and maybe even the endangered sloth bear. This is also one of the best places in the country to see wild elephant, and the rare Sri Lankan Leopard, having one of the highest Leopard densities in the world

This morning after a good breakfast, you will drive to the Southern Coast of the island to the hip and trendy town of Galle, past the iconic Galle Fort and checking in at Amangalla and spending the day at your leasure. The following day enjoy a private Galle Fort Walk with a local resident, focussing on the host’s experience of growing up in the Fort and presenting it not as a tourist attraction, but an extension of his home. Visit historic points of interests, like ancient churches, mosques and museums, walk the Fort’s ramparts at sunset, explore the cobble-stone streets and enjoy dinner in a local eatery. 

After a flight to the Maldives, spend your final five days relaxing in paradise at Gili Lankanfushi. This luxury, private island resort boasts a 'no news, no shoes' policy, and you can enjoy a carefree stay, with every little detail taken care of by your own 'Mr Friday', and a range of fabulous onsite facilities that will ensure you're never bored.
