You’ll spot a diverse range of wildlife and birdlife on your twice-daily game-drives (in open vehicles) and guided walks throughout the Motorogi and Olare Orok Conservancies, in particluar the topi (an antelope only native to this area), hippopotamus, warthogs and hyaenas.
Whilst staying at Mahali Mazuri, visit one of the Maasai villages in the local area and immerse yourself in their fascinating and welcoming culture. Discover the Maasai's daily life in the Mara as you learn about the local Maasai Tribe and their pastoralist customs. Travel just ten minutes in the morning and help milk the cattle or in the evening and help herd the cattle and goats back into their enclosures for the night. A further five-minute drive takes you to a local school where you can meet Maasai children and Mahali Mzuri's guides will introduce you to their families as you discover more about their cultures and traditions.
Children aged from 8 years and over are welcome in camp and are able to join their parents on game-drives. However, only children over the age of 12 years can accompany their parents on game-walks.
