Surrounded by farmland, sprawling gardens and over 400 apple trees, enjoy a luxury ‘staycation’ at this charming and sustainably focused country estate in Somerset. Expect uninterrupted intimacy as you stay inside the breathtakingly beautiful, Grade-II listed Georgian manor, Hadspen House or one of its artfully renovated stable rooms. Tear yourself away from your room and stroll to the rustic spa building, where you’ll not only find a menu of indulgent treatments, but an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna to soothe your senses. Refuelling your mind and body is a pleasure too, with every plate served featuring something fresh from the estate. A dreamy dinner accompaniment, cyder never runs short at The Newt, with a state-of-the-art Cyder Press and Cyder Cellar onsite offering an authentic taste of the region’s favoured tipple. Taking centre stage at this Somerset hideaway is the traditional English country gardens, designed by Italo-French architect Patrice Taravella.
