Bulgari Resort Dubai: Exterior
Posted: 15 November 2017
This December sees the much-anticipated opening of the exclusive Bulgari Resort Dubai, and as we welcome this ultra-luxurious resort to join the decadent Dubai party, we’re sure it will make a spectacular entrance…
This new star of the season, the latest offering from the Bulgari Resort & Residences Dubai, is bound to turn heads as it attracts the glitterati for a sumptuous stay on the exclusive seashorse-shaped Jumeirah Bay Island. Linked to the Dubai mainland via a 300-metre bridge, this new offering from Bulgari’s luxury hospitality collection is framed by lush landscaped gardens and boasts a first for Bulgari — its own Yacht Club and Marina. This 1.7 million ft2 marine complex is a stylish interpretation of a Mediterranean village, encompassing a prestigious 50-berth harbour, plus private beach, cabanas and thrilling watersports.
Our Partnerships Manager, Tara Taylor recently visited Dubai and was thrilled to be able to see the property before any guests arrive:
“I was lucky enough to have had an exclusive preview of Bulgari Dubai prior to the opening and am truly excited for the resort to open its doors on the 7th December. It really is an exclusive oasis with its own Marina and beach but close to the city and attractions of Dubai. Stunning views of the sea, or the Dubai skyline surround the resort, plus the villas with pools on the beach offer something different in this area of Dubai. Style and glamour just oozed from the resort and I know that it is a unique addition to our Dubai portfolio.” Tara Taylor, Partnerships Manager
All this, and yet it is the interiors that are bound to court the initial attention to this urban oasis. An established European brand synonymous with fine jewellery and luxury goods. it’s arrival to the Arabian Gulf is bringing a wealth of classic Italian concepts and Italian-influenced design, by Antonia Citterio Patricia Viel, to the striking Dubai skyline. The 121 rooms, suites and villas boast private balconies overlooking the marina and beach, with a further 20 Bulgari pool villas providing the ultimate in privacy.
With six sublime dining venues, including La Spiagia, sushi and the contemporary Il Ristorante, under the patronage of three Michelin-star chef Niko Romito, guests can expect a lavish culinary offering, filled with both international and Italian flair. Other exceptional experiences include the 1,700 m2 spa with hammam, a butler service, fitness centre, an haute couture chocolate boutique, plus first Little Gems Club for younger guests.
The BVLGARI SPA, provides another opportunity to indulge, showcasing a plethora of pampering treatments and ample space to relax and rejuvenate. With eight sumptuous treatment rooms, privileged guests can immerse themselves in an innovative spa menu, plus enjoy state-of-the-art thermal bathing experiences. The serene, 25-metre indoor pool provides stunning sea views through its magnificient floor-to-ceiling windows, whilst the Technogym equipment allows guests to keep pace with Dubai’s frenetic lifestyle! For those keen to take a class, there is yoga, Pilates and boxing all available — allowing you to indulge, guilt-free!
By cleverly combining the extensive city attractions with the marina lifestyle, guests can enjoy easy access to both. For those seeking uber-luxury, perhaps one of the six residential properties, or fifteen private mansions — built as part of Bulgari’s Marina and Yacht Club — will hit the mark. With its own private members’ lounge and 50 exclusive berths, it is certainly set to cause a stir. There is little doubt, that this centrally-located, yet perfectly idyllic resort will provide another compelling reason to stay within the dazzling city of Dubai and with Christmas availability, it makes for an extra-special celebration this festive season.
