What benefits does the Elegant Resorts Dubai Office offer clients? From their arrival, our clients have the comfort of knowing that there is an extension of the Elegant Resorts Reservations and Concierge team available during their holiday. We ensure that special occasions such as engagements, birthdays and anniversaries are taken care of. We pay special attention to children travelling with families so that parents are able to enjoy their holiday as well. We look after any emergencies that might occur during the holiday whether it’s medical, personal or simply preferential - as in not liking your room or location -and we’re on hand to amend or alter any previously confirmed arrangements, if need be. We are basically the umbrella during the clients’ entire holiday here in Dubai.
What sort of services can be pre-booked? Dubai is one of the most organised and tourist friendly destinations in the world, making it fairly easy to anticipate and provide for our clients requests. We can arrange all kinds of transportation – from stretch limousines to fancy cars, old Arabic dhows to the most luxurious yachts, seaplanes and helicopters - we can even pre-book a private island for our clients. We can pre-book each day for a client as he or she wishes, including golf on some of the world’s best golf courses, a variety of spa treatments and speciality restaurant reservations. We can also organise tickets for the extensive calendar of events that take place in Dubai – both sports and cultural. Other services we can arrange include baby-sitting, nursing care, entertainment, sports coaching, hair and makeup consultants, shopping concierges or technology butlers..
What sort of arrangements can you make? Elegant Resorts’ Dubai Office have arranged coaches, venues and facilities to help make our clients wishes come true...we’ve helped arrange for clients to improve their golf swing and get their PADI certification, we’ve even helped children go on crash courses with Manchester United and show-horse riding. When clients come to celebrate special occasions we usually arrange some extra special touches to help enhance those celebrations – such as under-water divers sending best wishes through the walls of the ocean in Dubai’s under sea restaurant and helicopters relaying special messages whilst clients are dining at the world’s highest restaurant; we’ve arranged special intimate dinners in art galleries and Michelin Star Chef’s kitchens. We’ve helped clients achieve their some of their bucket-list wishes including sky diving and F1 racing, and we’ve even arranged for clients to spend an afternoon with a local Arabic family in a traditional Arabic home. Most importantly, we allow our clients to enjoy their holidays by being discreet and discerning, respecting their time and privacy.
Is there something particularly extra-special that you have arranged for a client? We recently arranged a private dinner on the beach, with a five course menu, wines to match and private musicians serenading the table while a beautiful sail boat sailed past; there were banners and singing and fireworks were added in for good measure as well.
What activities and attractions do you recommend for the first-time visitor to Dubai? Dubai has so much to offer that we usually talk to the first time visitor to determine what their interests are and what they want to achieve while on holiday. If it’s a cultural experience, I’d definitely recommend a desert safari, visit to the old town and a visit to the Jumeirah Mosque. If its adventure they want, I’d recommend the Water parks, dolphin interaction, water sports, skiing or F1 car racing. And if its life style, I’d recommend some spa treatments and the fantastic restaurant choices available.
What activities and experiences do you recommend for repeat visitors to Dubai who may have already visited the main tourist attractions? Dubai is constantly evolving and innovating that frankly, this is one of easiest parts of the job. We have a collection of exclusive experiences that can be offered, depending on the client’s interest, which might include spending half a day with a leading Arabic Chef on a speciality Arabic cuisine class, perhaps a little tour to see the newer developments being made to the ever changing land and seascape of Dubai – and of course we can recommend the latest amazing restaurant to have opened since their last trip here; then there’s the monorail or underwater ride – a driverless metro system to Dubai World. To be honest the list of things to see and do changes as much as the landscape does, in fact, there probably isn’t very much we can’t do!
