Journey Highlights

Take an Icelandic adventure across the wintery landscape of the southern region and see the magnificent natural wonders on a journey of a lifetime.

Beginning in Reykjavik, this expertly tailored tour is ideal for those with an adventurous streak. Starting off with a visit to the Blue Lagoon geothermal waters, where you can reap the skin healing benefits of the mineral-rich lagoon, you will take off to a flying start the next day with a helicopter tour above the Golden Circle. Soaring above the waterfalls, geysers and glaciers, this is an impressive way to be introduced to the dramatic scenery of Iceland.

Next, you will head off to the South Shore, where you will spend three nights in the friendly boutique hotel, Skálakot. From here, you will venture out on private tours to see some of the most spectacular sights, plus have the unique chance to snowmobile on a glacier and take a self-drive Jeep ride across the rugged terrain. Finally, you will visit the Reykjanes Peninsula, where you will see the colourful geothermal soil at Seltun and zoom through the moon-like landscape on a buggy ride.

Travelling between September and April, the weather is at its crispest and coldest, while the pitch-black nights offer the best chance for spotting the magnificent Northern Lights dancing across the sky.
