Discover the real spirit of Cuba in Havana, one of the most charming cities in the world, where revolution flows through its veins and music and cigar smoke pervade the cobbled backstreets. The legendary capital city blends old and new, where lively salsa bars and boutique hotels can be found around the corner from crumbling colonial façades.

Spend three nights exploring this intriguing city on your own terms. There is plenty to discover dependent on your interests, whether you want to be immersed in culture, learn about the island's history or let your hair down and dance to the rhythms of the salsa music. Be sure to tour the cigar factories or head out to one of the plantations in the valleys to see the art of cigar-rolling in action. Fans of literature must venture out to see the former home of Ernest Hemingway, while if you love to be inspired by the art of a country, see fine works at Museo Nacional de Bellas or contemporay pieces at Fabrica de Arte Cubano. Browse the museums and shady colonial courtyards to feel the unique heritage of Havana, and be sure to spend a night caught up in the splendor of a show at Tropicana Club!

After departing from Havana and spending a day at sea, you will arrive at Maria la Gorda in early morning, home to a stunning beach where you can enjoy authentic Cuban Mojitos and seafood down on the sand. With a lush landscape and shimmering waters, snorkelers and divers won’t be able to resist jumping in to explore the underwater kingdom. Alternatively, visit a local community school and visit one of the country’s best tobacco farms to see a cigar-rolling demonstration, following a traditional Cuban lunch. You can also opt to visit Guanahacabibes National Park, home to coral reefs, beaches, mangroves and dozens of wildlife species, where you can learn about conservation projects and the Bajada meteorological radar, which is one of eight weather stations in Cuba.
