Spa & Wellness
The strong connection between the garden and spa at Babylonstoren is ever present, set amongst an impressive forest of bamboo, with the calming appearance of lush greenery and 'leiwater' channels providing an opulence of tranquillity. Housed in a structure made out of bamboo, there's a gym and traditional treatment rooms comprising a hammam and a chill room.
Babylonstoren is one of the best-preserved Cape Dutch farmyards in the Cape. Its simplicity, style and abundance of nature are the core to any event held at the hotel. There is an option of three beautiful wedding venues, including the Old Cellar, Wheat Barn and White Studio, all delightfully restored Cape farm buildings - revealing whitewashed walls, thatched roofs and ornate gables - providing the perfect environment for a wedding party of up to 100 guests. Typically, wedding ceremonies are held outside, with pre-reception drinks on the immaculate green lawns overlooking the vineyards and the incredible Drakenstein Mountains.
