Amancaya is perched atop a poised cliff-edge overlooking the bay of Anse des Lezards. Both internally and out, the villa affords limitless views of stunning surroundings; from the distant views of wave-whipped shoreline to the Asian-inspired landscape gardens, found just outside the door. There are five bedrooms altogether, each featuring beautiful slim-line wooden beds and subtly rustic interiors flushed with colourful textiles and tribal decor. On the whole, Amancaya is a mostly-modern Caribbean villa but a few earthly furnishings pay homage to its island heritage. The cliff-edge swimming pool is very impressive and plenty of outdoor decking allows all twelve guests to soak up St. Barths’ beautiful sunshine.

There are two bedrooms in the main house and a further three bedrooms in a separate bungalow.

The main living room enjoys views over the ocean and is decorated with an L-shaped sofa, bold colours and a ceiling fan. From the living room, there is a kitchen opening onto the swimming pool and a dining room housed under a covered terrace and seating up to twelve guests. To the back of the villa there is an additional dining area which will seat five people beside a tranquil water feature with garden views.

Outdoors a staggered pool-deck borders the rectangular swimming pool (10.8ft X 39.7ft) and beautiful Asian-inspired gardens. Sun loungers and pool-side day beds are all provided.

The kitchen is decorated with burgundy-brown wooden surfaces and is fully-equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, espresso maker, toaster, blender, dishwasher and a refrigerated wine cabinet. There’s also a breakfast bar which can accommodate up to twelve guests.
