Luxury Tignes Holidays
As one of the highest ski resorts in the Alps, Tignes' high-altitude pastures, once used by local shepherds, are now among the most snow-sure slopes in Europe. A child of the 1950s its purpose-built, with some dubious architecture (undergoing improvement) but a reliable snow record, fast and efficient lift system and guaranteed skiing virtually year-round make it one of the top resorts in Europe. Tignes, together with Val d'Isère, form L'Espace Killy and with over miles of pistes, plenty of shops and bars and numerous ski schools it’s become something of a Mecca for experts and adventurous intermediates alike.
