The hotel's Deluxe Rooms (some with a balcony) offer sea or city views, while Executive Rooms have the benefit of Executive Club lounge facilities. The Deluxe Corner Suites offer additional space and a separate bedroom and dressing room. The four Duplex Suites feature a spacious marble entrance hall with a guest cloakroom, small kitchen and a sweeping staircase. The Luxury Suite, set on the ninth floor of the hotel, is a section of the larger Presidential Suite and features world-class amenities.

Being a child at this resort is great fun. Each little one receives a welcome gift and 4 to 12-year-olds have access to The Ritz Kids’ Club and activities including decorating shells and face painting. Children also have the opportunity to learn new skills, such as ballet, swimming, magic tricks and cooking. There is a playground, a dedicated baby pool and, on special occasions, teddy bear’s picnics are also arranged. Little girls can even have a manicure at the hotel spa.

Venture into Dubai and visit the Jumeirah Mosque as it is one of very few mosques open to non-Muslims and provides an excellent insight into the Muslim faith. Alternatively, discover Dubai's flamboyant souks, selling anything from textiles and spices to gold and Arabic perfume, and the perfect excuse to stock up with handicrafts and souvenirs. As night falls, find sanctuary in one of the city's many bars and restaurants - these are usually attached to hotels, due to Dubai's strict alcohol restrictions, but as there are countless hotels in the area, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
