The hotel’s ‘Nature’s Wonders Sanctuary’ allows children and adults to view creatures such as baby alligators, sharks and iguanas up close in the seven aquariums, and ‘meet’ turtles and starfish in the touch tanks. Interactive learning activities led by resident naturalists include nature walks, boat rides and field trips which bring the Florida ecosystem to life. In addition, the hotel has a state-of-the-art entertainment lounge featuring XBox, PlayStation, Wii and more, and access is granted to the ‘Ritz Kids’ programme at sister hotel The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort.
Children get the opportunity to socialize with other children while mom and dad enjoy a round of golf, a day at the spa or relaxing time by the pool. This hourly program is offered daily from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Cost is $15 per hour. ARTS AND CRAFTS: Finger painting, sand art and tie-dye projects are just a few of the crafts offered during the afternoon craft hour. Arts and Crafts are available daily from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. For children ages 5-12. Cost varies per craft.
