Located in the famous wine region, Barossa Valley, The Louise is a luxury boutique vineyard retreat dedicated to the appreciation of good food and wine; in fact, it is a true gourmand's paradise. Set upon a hillside, the property enjoys views across the vineyards and the guest suites take advantage of these, as each one has a vineyard-facing terrace. In addition, all suites feature luxuries including a spa bath, LCD television, CD player, iPod docking station and a mini-bar, and they accommodate between two and four guests. A host of wine-tasting classes and vineyard tours are on offer, while the renowned restaurant, Apellation, utilises local ingredients, many from the kitchen garden, in both its à la carte menu and its signature, ten-course ‘Wine Flight Tasting Menu’ which is, of course, paired with incredible wines.

Weekly Wine and Cheese Matching tutorials take place in the Wine Bar. 

Off-site experiences include a visit to the Barossa Farmers’ Saturday Market with the Executive Chef, winery tours with one of the hotel’s Sommeliers, ‘Breakfast with the Kangaroos’ - which is an escorted tour, and a gourmet picnic in the park, ‘The Barossa Wine Experience’ – guided tours with tastings at a variety of winemakers and ‘Make your own blend’ – a hands-on experience at the iconic Penfolds winery. In addition, private hot-air balloon tours over the valley can be arranged.
