Luxury Ski Holidays

The Lodge is just five-hundred yards from the Over Easy Gondola which takes you to the Mt. Mansfield ski area. Mt. Mansfield is Vermont's highest peak and provides classic New England ski experiences. A relatively quiet and non crowded resort (minus the weekends), Stowe offers 48 trails and nearly 40 miles of piste to traverse. There are 13 ski lifts which can carry over 15,000 passengers an hour and a mountain transfer gondola. The ski season kicks off in November, and lasts until April with night skiing available Thursday through to Saturday between January and March. There's also plenty of areas for snowboarders; there's a Superpipe at North Slope and several other snowboarding parks. Beginners can attend the Ski & Board School at Spruce Park. In addition, Stow provides free daily mountain tours led by an experienced mountain guide which will help you familiarise yourself with the routes.

Luxury Family Holidays

The suites with kitchenettes are ideal for a flexible family holiday. Leisure facilities include a games room with air hockey, pinball and football tables. Weekly children’s activity evenings, dog-sledding, sleigh rides and babysitting are all available on request, local charges apply. Children’s menus are also available in the Hourglass restaurant.
