Luxury Diving Holidays

The Diving School is  fully equipped with the latest high tech diving equipment and professional instructors who will train you to be PADI certified in less than a week. Diving excursions, are as expected in the Maldives - simply sublime with subtle extras such as attentive guides and small diving groups making each each trip that little bit more special.

All levels of expertise are encouraged to enjoy a diving experience, beginners will flourish as fully-fledged divers within a week while those with greater skills will enjoy the more demanding of dives. A trip to Manta Point comes highly recommended as you will undoubtedly gain a magnificent Mantra experience - gliding just above you, some are over three metres in length while others like to play amongst diver's bubbles, and all of this is only a ten minute boat journey away.

Once a month, when the magnificent glow of a full moon descends on the Maldives, Soneva Gili hosts a spectacular full-moon dining event. Set on the beach, with sunken dining tables immersed in the sand, the moon alone emits enough light for guests to dine without artificial lighting. A wholly romantic experience, this full-moon event coincides with the resort's charming 'Slow-Life' programme whereby the hotel functions solely without electricity. The perfect back-to-nature experience combined with delicious Maldivian cuisine, 'Full-Moon Dining' is not to be missed.  

The underground wine cave now contains an underground chocolate cave as well, complete with a chocolate menu and wine pairing. Available for pre or post-dinner occasions.
