Cities

Xi'an is best known for its Terracotta Warriors. Thought to be over two-thousand years old, there are over seven-thousand soldiers, horses, chariots and weapons to be admired. Xi'an is also home to the world's largest city wall, which makes for an excellent cycling route with bike hire easily available. Other highlights include the Muslim Quarters as well as a collection of city pagodas, temples and Chinese towers. As dusk approaches, head towards the North Square, by the Wild Goose Pagoda, which hosts a nightly fountain show.
