Shumba Camp lies on the Busanga Plains, a protected area roughly the size of Wales. The plains have a dense concentration of game, which attracts great numbers of predators such as wild dogs, cheetahs and lions. Six large, luxurious safari tents are raised on platforms to capitalise on the views from the private decks. From dawn until dusk, the theatre of nature plays on, bringing the drama and beauty of the African bush into thrilling proximity. Day and evening game-drives are provided, giving expertly guided access to some of the best lion and cheetah-viewing on the continent. Children over six years old only are allowed at Shumba Camp.
