Leisure Facilities
Sand sculpting, treasure hunts and beach walks are just some of the delights that The Treehouse Club has in store for children from 3 to 12 years of age. It also has an indoor play space, a Toddler Corner and The Den for teenagers which offers computer games, a pool table, jukebox and island tours. Swimming with the friendly Hawksbill Turtles, who favour the waters in front of the hotel, can also be arranged, and for girls 9 to 13 years old, special manicures or pedicures can be enjoyed at the spa.
Parents Welcome!
Parents are invited to join the fun anytime. Watch out for special events designed for the whole family at holiday times! Christmas celebrations include a Caribbean Carnival, Santa's arrival on the beach, New Year's Eve parties for kids and teens and family excursions. Easter traditions feature egg decorating, Easter Bonnet Parade, lawn games and gigantic egg hunt. Teen social activities, family entertainment and excursions to local areas of interest all add to the Sandy Lane holiday fun. Toys, outdoor games, sand toys, board games, puzzles and more are available at the Centre, on the beach or on the Lawn. Activities and games for ages 3 to teen are kept in the centre.
The focal point of golf at Sandy Lane is the impressive Club House overlooking the 18th Hole of The Country Club Course and The Green Monkey. The clubhouse serves the three Sandy Lane courses: The Old Nine, the Tom Fazio designed Country Club Course and the spectacular Green Monkey Course.
Facilities
Tastefully decorated with every modern convenience a golfer or visitor would require. The Country Club has a restaurant and bar, lounge areas, an extensive pro shop, locker facilities and private rooms which come equipped with plasma TV screens.
Pro Shop
The Pro Shop at The Country Club carries an extensive selection of golf equipment and clothing, including brands such as Nike, Bobby Jones, Tommy Hilfiger and Titleist.
Locker Rooms
The modern facilities in the clubhouse allow golfers the chance to feel pampered and relaxed, especially after a challenging round of golf. The Locker Rooms are spacious and luxurious with private lounge rooms attached.
Restaurant & Bar
Non-golfing families and friends can meet for drinks or refreshments. The restaurant has an all day menu and is open to the public seven days a week. Shoes and clubs can be rented. The golf carts, included in the green fee at The Country Club, are fitted with a GPS system. The system also provides tips on the best way to play the hole. Guests can also use the GPS to order light refreshments. When playing at Sandy Lane, soft spikes are required. Carts are also compulsory on The Country Club and the Green Monkey course and must be accompanied by one caddie per cart who will assist with local knowledge and other services. Whatever your handicap, Sandy Lane offers the golfer a personal challenge, whether it is the intimate and winding Old Nine, the long and challenging Country Club or the challenging and exciting Green Monkey.
The 7,000 sq ft state-of-the-art health and fitness spa features fourteen wonderful treatment rooms - and products by Anne Semonin. Personalised VIP treatment suites have a private shower and changing facilities, with several suites also featuring private landscaped gardens or hydrotherapy pools. There is a vast choice of treatments to choose from including herbal wraps, hot stone and chakra therapies as well as Ayurvedic massage. And, each one is performed by one of a team of professional therapists. There is also a fitness and exercise studio with personal training sessions, Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates. Other facilities include a sauna, steam room and ice room, along with a John Frieda hair and beauty salon.
