Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma delights guests with twelve tree house-style cabins and two luxury Chuma houses located in a nook of the Zambezi River. Each tree house is connected by wooden walkways, while internally there is an open-plan living space comprising a canopy bed, bath and shower. The Chuma houses are well equipped for larger groups or families, with two bedrooms, a plunge pool and a team of staff, including a private Chef. The main lodge offers a lounge, bar and second-floor decking area which is perfect for bird's-eye-views across the plains.

The main lodge features a ground-level dining area which, unlike the majority of African camps, offers separate dining tables. Diners can often sit out on the external terrace, enjoying al fresco meals with sunset views.

Cuisine is simple yet creative; crocodile curry appears regularly on the menu.

Luxury Spa Holidays

There is no spa at Sanctuary Sussi and Chuma but the treatment room offers facials, bodycare and therapeutic remedies using products from the Africology and Thalgo spa ranges.

Luxury Hotel Experiences

Take a guided tour of Victoria Falls or a local Zambian village. For an additional charge, guests can request scenic flights and elephant-back riding.

Safari Holidays

All safari excursions are included in the weekly rate. Game-drives take place in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, accompanied by experienced Guides driving 4x4 vehicles. Lion walks with semi-habituated lions can be found just ten minutes away ensuring visitors can get very close to these magnificent animals. Also included are sunset and sunrise boat trips down river, passing through gentle rapids, pods of hippos and the occasional elephant.

Luxury Family Holidays

Children must be nine years of age or over to stay at the Sussi tree houses, whereas Chuma houses accept children of all ages.
