The ancient mountain range of the Laurentians is an atmospheric world of unspoiled wilderness, frozen lakes and inviting slopes near Montreal in Eastern Canada. The largest mountain of the range is Tremblant which offers 610 acres of piste, with twenty percent of the runs suitable for beginners and plenty to suit the more experienced skiers too. Tremblant is a purpose-built resort in the heart of Quebec with a unique Quebecois culture and atmosphere giving it a very French feel. The old village – Vieux Tremblant – has been restored while a ‘new’ village of brightly painted buildings and cobbled streets lined with smart shops and restaurants has been skilfully added over the years.
