Bahrain
Made up of thirty-three islands, located just off the east coast of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain offers a fascinating blend of eastern and western cultures, as skyscrapers vie for space with traditional dwellings. A cosmopolitan atmosphere has been created by the many nationalities that live and visit here every year and there are lots of things to see and do. Sweet water springs and dazzling white sand beaches provide the perfect settings for relaxation, while the bustling gold and cloth souks are a must for any 'shopaholic'!
The holy month of Ramadan is projected to commence 21 August 2009 and will continue for 30 days. The serving of food at open-air restaurants will be located in an area that is cordoned off by partitions and hotels may place temporary partitioning around open-air restaurants to enable service to be provided for clients. Service of alcohol to non-Muslims will only be permitted from 1900 - 0200 hours. Please call your reservations consultant for further details.
