Little Ongava enjoys access to Etosha National Park which is brimming with animal dwellings, waterholes and flat-lying plains. The camp offers both day and night-drives in 4x4 open Land Rovers, night walks and bush trails, as well as full-day excursions complete with picnic lunches. For extra-special experiences, request a private vehicle (additional charges and advanced booking applies) or rhino-tracking by foot. Etosha boasts Black and White Rhinos, so these expeditions make for rare and unique animal encounters. Other safari highlights include lions, elephants and cheetahs, while the camp alone is awash with small, fascinating animals, such as Rock Rabbits and inquisitive birds.

Children six years of age and over are welcome at Little Ongava. All parties with children twelve years old and younger are required to book and pay for private activities (at an extra cost) unless they have booked the camp on an exclusive-use basis or have filled a vehicle (6 guests) and would, thus, have had sole-use of the vehicle. The following age restrictions apply: For boat trips, children must be six years of age or over, twelve years old for safari walks and at least sixteen years old for quad-biking. Little Ongava is a small and intimate lodge in the heart of one of Namibia's largest private reserves so it is important that children are supervised at all times.
